What is a “reading”?<\/span>
\nA traditional tarot reading involves a seeker – someone who is looking for answers to personal questions – and a reader – someone who knows how to interpret the cards. After the seeker has shuffled and cut the deck, the reader lays out the chosen cards in a pattern called a spread. Each card has a meaning. The reader interprets these meanings for the seeker using her knowledge of the cards and intuition.<\/p>\n

How long does a reading take?<\/span>
\nA basic reading takes about 15 minutes. More in-depth readings are available.<\/p>\n

What will it tell me?<\/span>

\nWe have been asked this question a few times and the answer is always the same.\u00a0No.<\/strong> Nothing bad can happen to you by using the tarot, they are only cards. You have free will you can take their message or not. They are only a tool that can be used for greater understanding.<\/p>\n

I’ve always wanted to try it but what if I get the death card?<\/span>
\nThe death card does not mean literal death; it is a card of change, the symbolic death of something, moving on to something new. A new job or relationship perhaps? There are both positive and negative cards in the tarot, but it is important to remember that everyone has free will and the future can be changed!<\/p>\n

Can the cards be used for other purposes?<\/span>
\nSo you want to know if you will win on the gambling boat, or if this is a good time to play Texas holdem or the lottery. Tarot cards can be used to find the answers to almost any question, you just need to ask and be open to the answer.<\/p>\n

How does one learn to read tarot cards? Can anyone do it?<\/strong>
