What To Expect With Reiki
A session lasts about one hour. The client relaxes on a massage table, fully clothed, while the practitioner gently places her hands on or slightly above the body in a pattern designed to balance the energy centers of the body and send energy to all major organs.
Hand placements begin at the top of the head extending to the soles of the feet. The client can have a variety of experiences, which range from sensations of heat, cold, tingling, color visualization and spontaneous memory recall.
A feeling of empowerment often accompanies the sense of blissful relaxation.
Each Reiki session is a unique event.
The only way to understand Reiki is througth personal expererience.
ShinJiro "to believe"
ShinJiro has been developed by Colleen Helgerson and the Galena Body and Spirit Reiki Masters over a period
of years through an ongoing working relationship between the Art
of Reiki and the Akashic Records. Additional yantras, mantras and
techniques have presented themselves through this work and provide
the reiki/akashic practitioner with tools to shift energy and manifest
very real change - especially useful in shifting, removing and
healing emotional energy and thought patterns brought into this
life from pastlife experiences. This form of energy work can be
used by an individual practitioner or a group of practitioners
working in concert - one on one with the client or through distance
work.
Reiki Distance Healing Testimonials
Even when you are open-minded to complimentary health care methods, sometimes a wellness opportunity comes along that seems a bit strange. Having used Reiki myself for general wellness and then going on to take Colleen’s Reiki I and II courses, even I wondered how effective Reiki could be when sent over a distance.
I initially made an appointment to travel to Dubuque for a session with Colleen, to address an allergic condition but decided to try a distance Reiki session at a prearranged time instead. I literally could feel myself receiving the energy that was being sent to me and it was very clear that the sensations were having a soothing and balancing effect. Heat pulsed in my hands and feet, beautiful colors passed before my closed eyes, and I felt cared for in the most wonderful way. As I could sense the session ending, I felt energized yet very calm. I decided to just lay still for a few more moments only to wake two hours later from the soundest, most restorative sleep that I had in months! I credit this distance Reiki experience with setting me firmly on the path toward healing and would like to encourage anyone who has considered distance Reiki to feel totally comfortable in arranging a session with Colleen. ~ Lauren, Cedar Falls IA
